1. Is the site you provide our site? (Back to Top)
Yes. This is not a shared service similar to those offered by many of the large job sites. The site we design for you is your site hosted on your domain name, and only advertising your jobs. Your website will also stand alone without our software, and this aspect of your website is purchased outright when we build your website. The software that makes the pages interactive is rented on a monthly basis.

2. I have a web site already. Can I still use the Recruitment Site software? (Back to Top)
Yes. However, your website will need to be altered at the back end to enable the software to run its interactive functions. Even if you want it to look the same, it will involve considerable set-up, for which we make a small charge. It is to your advantage, therefore, to consider any design alterations you may want to make at the same time.

3. We have two regional offices - do I need to buy two lots of software? (Back to Top)
No. The system is written to allow for multiple offices, and as the database is updated over the internet anyone with access to the internet and a password can gain access and edit job details. This means that you could have a central admin. team or you could allow a large number of people to update jobs.

4. Can I upload jobs from existing software? (Back to Top)
Yes. Provided your software can export the data in a suitable format (most software can) then you can upload this data file and import its contents into the on-line job board. This can be done as often as you like (eg. daily) so you can hold your database locally, if you prefer, yet with a click of a button have it available online as well.

5. Do I need technical skills to add jobs to the database? (Back to Top)
No. The system has been written so that anybody with basic computer skills can edit and update the system.

6. How much support comes with the monthly software rental? (Back to Top)
A lot, if you need it, but the software is so easy to use that in practice you will seldom need to ring us with simple queries. We also deal with any technical issues relating to the website, as well as any "tweaks" to design, text or the functionality that you want on your website. On-going support is included in the Technospider package.

7. Can I alter the available regions and contract types? (Back to Top)
Yes. All of the regions, contract types, payment periods and categories are user defineable. To do so log on to your system and click the "JobsDB Admin" link.

8. How many categories and sub categories can I have? (Back to Top)
As many as you like. You can have an infinate number of categories and sub categories and sub sub categories and sub sub sub categories and so on, but for practical purposes we recommend only having one main category level with one sub category level.

9. I advertise jobs in Europe. Can I alter the regions to meet my needs? (Back to Top)
The regions as well as the currency can be set by the user, so your regions can be European in scale, or very local if you wish.

Do you do simple website design without software? (Back to Top)
No. All our websites are designed to be interactive to some degree. For small recruitment agencies we do a highly affordable mini service, with quality design, an editable list of vacancies, online email applications and other features. Please contact us for further details.
